GLENN MARTIN SCULPTURES

About The Artist

Glenn Martin is an eco sculptor who is based on the Isle of Wight. Preferred mediums are reclaimed materials, from plastics and glass to metals and wood. Sculptures can be either one or several materials. Influences of creativity are mainly derived from nature.

A self taught sculptor Glenn actually studied 3 Dimensional design at Leeds metropolitan university. Based on the Isle of Wight he has worked in many disciplines over the years.

From designing and building, decor installations in nightclubs to community sculptures working with young people. From hire sculpture for festivals to more refined bespoke pieces Glenn has always kept his work diverse.

With a deep appreciation of nature and a fascination for mechanics his work is kept simple in construction yet complex in design. In recent years he has gravitated towards only using recycled materials in construction of sculpture. Although this is not achievable for every project it is a philosophy he likes to uphold wherever possible.
